I want to have about four images of my meals to be my front cover, they will be in the form of a grid and one big on the back cover or the back maybe plain, i'm not sure yet. I want my background to be black but more of a faded black than appose to solid black, I think it will go well with my food images as they maybe bright and the black will help balance it out.
As for my layout i'm not sure how I want it to be apart from having my four images in grid center of my front cover, my title will either straight or semi curved. My font color will be white as it will stand out and catch my intend target audience eyes and will be clear to read.
This is something I created in PowerPoint to show what I would like my final cover to look like or something very similar. The font is "Edwardian Script"font size "80". I chose this font style because its eye catching, fancying but not too fancy where it draws the attention away from the food. The images are just some samples of food picture i had on my phone, they won't be the final images.
The images really stand out on the gradient background as appose to solid background, the background leaves the main focus on the food which is exactly what I wanted. Personally for my a gradient background is better when it comes to cookery as appose to a solid color.
