Finish Disc

To achieve the end product I first thicken the stroke point on the largest circle to 2, this circle is the bleeding edge any thing placed on it would be cut off. Once that was completed i then moved on to using the text tool to type 'Moya's Kitchen'. At first moya's kitchen was on 1 straight line but then i did some research online and realize that it would better if i had my text on two separate lines. Once i done it I found that it worked best, because having all on one line made it look too squashed up together.

The font is the same font that I've used on the DVD cover and my logo. The font work well because it was fancy but not too fancy and complement everything else around it without drawing attention away from the main focus point.

For the copy right warning around the edge of the label, I had to create and circle because it wouldn't allow me to type on the path of a clipping mask path. The circle had to be the same exact size so that I place it around the clipping mask, you wouldn't be able to tell that there's if fact to circle.

I then selected the type on path tool so that i was able to type my text on the path. Once I typed the text i had to changed the font to 'Calibri' bold and size to 6pt. Originally I did want to use  'Edwardian Script ITC' but the thing is that it wasn't clear to see and look horrible. there was no way I was keeping the font for this part of the text.

Everything is on a different  layer, its a lot easier to work with everything a different layers because you can always hide something you not really sure about until you find a place it instead of deleting it.

I played around with the images until I got them in a position that worked and I was happy with. When i was happy with it all I grouped them all together so I could move them around as one.
